ETimes TV had quotes from the actor, who had spoken about his last few TV shows, the kind of content he wished to do.
He shared a few days back, “I was very happy that I could return on screen with a lead role in the show Kyun Rishton Mein Katti Batti. Playing Kuldeep will always be inspiring to me because when people used to tell me that time has gone and now you won’t see yourself playing a lead role, this was the answer to them. I’m happy that today on our television screen makers are equally giving importance to experienced actors along with newcomers.”
Talking about his last two stints, he said, “Though my duration in Ziddi Dil Maane Na and Control Room were not much, still that helped me to act which I’m always passionate about. I’m looking for some challenging roles that I could essay.”
The actor had expressed his wish to explore the digital medium but wanted to stay away from bold content. He said back then, “I wish to do digital shows too as that would allow me to connect with youngsters. Digital shows that are about content not just about bold scenes. As an actor I’m fine doing meaningful scenes which are not below the belt but a requirement of the story. I’m never ready to do any bold content, though I carry a huge respect for actors who can act and are comfortable doing it, nothing wrong in it. But as an actor I want to act in roles, which my family would accept me doing. And rest I trust destiny what’s written for me, that will for sure happen tomorrow.”
Siddhaanth passed away untimely due to cardiac arrest while working out in the gym. Being a fitness enthusiast, he spoke about the joy that would bring him while keeping himself fit. He said, “I enjoy staying fit. I want to grow old handsomely. Though I feel working out doesn’t only help you to be healthy but makes you happy at the same time. As it also lets you forget all your worries and gives you a peaceful state of mind.”
The police ruled out any foul play in the death case. Actors like Sharad Kelkar, Anita Hassanandani, Arti Singh, Rohit Verma and others were spotted outside the hospital yesterday (November) to see their friend for the last time and be with his family during the tough time.
