NEW DELHI: Anil Antony, son of Congress veteran & former defence minister AK Antony, is expected to join the BJP on Thursday, according to TV reports.
He is likely to address a press conference later in the day in New Delhi.
Anil had resigned from the Congress after his tweet criticising the controversial BBC documentary on Prime Minister Narendra Modi created unease in the grand old party.
In his resignation letter, he said that the resignation was due to the intolerant calls he has received to his tweets.
Anil Antony had come out against the BCC indulging in the matters of our country, in the wake of the screening of the documentary on Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
